Screenshot takedown
Product screenshots on this site illustrate how a real product solved a pattern. They belong to their owners, not to this site.
How screenshots are used
Each example shows a small part of a real interface, credited to the product and dated, next to an explanation of the pattern it demonstrates. The purpose is teaching: to show that a pattern exists in practice and how one team chose to resolve it. Screenshots are kept small, are never presented as this site’s own design work, and are not used to endorse or criticise a product.
Asking for one to be removed
If you own a product shown here and would like a screenshot taken down, it will be removed. No argument and no justification needed - the pattern can be explained with a drawing instead.
A contact route for takedown requests is being set up. Until it is live, the fastest path is to reach the author, Abhi Chatterjee, through avidmind.design. Please include the pattern page and which screenshot you mean.
The written text is different
The pattern writing on this site - the problems, forces, anatomy and accessibility notes - is original and published under CC BY 4.0. You are free to quote and reuse it with credit. That licence covers the text and the drawings, never the product screenshots.
